Regular escort for crime victims

Representation of crime victims

A victim of a crime is a person who was directly harmed by an act of crime and/or a person's family members in the event that the crime caused his death. In the criminal procedure in the State of Israel, the prosecutor's office and the police are responsible for conducting the prosecution against the accused, while the victim of the offense is not a formal party.

However, there are rights for the crime victim, which were recognized in the Crime Victims Law and other laws, and which regulate issues such as receiving information about the conduct of the process, protection orders, compensations, etc.

Our office provides ongoing support for crime victims - starting with assistance in understanding the need to file a complaint, support during the police investigation, as well as assistance and support in the entire investigative and legal process arising from the crime while making sure to update, provide information and uphold the rights of the crime victims while providing a personal and professional attitude.

The support includes support in front of the prosecutor's office or any other prosecuting unit, both in front of the courts and in the media (in cases where this is required).
